Update:
Carl Hall led the Shockers with 18 points while Ron Baker dropped in 15 in his first game back as Wichita State beat Missouri State 69 to 59 to advance to the semi-finals of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
The Shockers overcame an amazing performance by the Bears' Marcus Marshall who scored 25 points.
Wichita State pounded the boards and outrebounded Missouri State 43-24, including 18 offensive rebounds. The Shocks also got 37 points off the bench to the Bears' 6.
Wichita State advances to face the winner of the Illinois State vs Northern Iowa game. The Shockers' next game will be at 4:05 pm Saturday.

Wichita State leads Missouri State 29-24 at halftime in the quarter-finals of Arch Madness.
Carl Hall leads the Shockers in scoring with 7 points at halftime, two of which he got just before the break off an offensive rebound.
Wichita State is outrebounding Missouri state 21-10 but the Shockers got into early foul trouble allowing the Bears to get out to an early lead.
Marcus Marshall leads the Bears with 10 points at half while Wichita Heights product Gavin Thurman has 6 points at the break.
Ron Baker returned to the Shockers' lineup for the first time since he suffered a stress fracture in his foot. Baker has 2 points at halftime. Nick Wiggins and Jake White each have 6 points at halftime and Wichita State has 17 total bench points.
