Someone in Kansas is a millionaire and doesn't even know it! But, time is running out to claim their prize.
The Kansas Lottery says a $1,000,000 Powerball ticket sold in Kansas for the January 26, 2013 drawing has not been claimed.
The winning ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball. The winning numbers from the Jan. 26, 2013 Powerball drawing are: 3-22-26-41-49 Powerball 18.
The ticket holder has 365 days from the date of the drawing to claim the winning ticket.
The $1 million ticket was sold in the southwest region of Kansas which includes these 24 counties: Greeley, Wichita, Scott, Lane, Ness, Rush, Hamilton, Kearny, Finney, Hodgeman, Pawnee, Stanton, Grant, Haskell, Gray, Ford, Edwards, Kiowa, Morton, Stevens, Seward, Meade, Clark, and Comanche.
If the ticket is not claimed, the prize money stays in the Lottery’s prize fund to be used for future prizes.
