Anne is no stranger to covering news in Kansas; she’s been reporting in Wichita since 2003. She joined the Eyewitness News team in 2011. Count on her to spend a lot of time at city hall, following city and county government issues.
During her years in Kansas, Anne has covered a variety of stories including the BTK trial, the death of Dr. George Tiller and the Greensburg tornado. She even traveled overseas to the Middle East to report on McConnell troops during their deployment.
Before coming to Wichita, Anne was the main anchor at KHAS in Hastings, Nebraska for three years. She has also worked at KULR in Billings, Montana. There, she started her career as a crime reporter and eventually advanced up to weekend anchor.
Anne was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in journalism. She is a huge sports fan, especially for her favorite team the Minnesota Vikings.
In her spare time, you’ll likely find Anne in the kitchen cooking up new recipes. She is also an avid shutterbug, which is in her genes. Her parents own a freelance photography business.
