A new professional soccer team named the B52's will soon begin playing at Hartman Arena. The Professional Arena Soccer League made the annoucement during a press conference Thursday.
Joseph Pindell is the new owner of the Wichita B-52's. He's from St Louis.
Eyewitness News Anchor Jenn Bates spoke with the league Director of Operations, Sydney Nusinov, about what soccer fans can expect this coming season.
The PASL is entering its sixth year of operation, and is currently the largest and longest-running arena soccer organization in the United States. The organization is nationwide, with teams from San Diego to Detroit. The 2012-13 season featured 19 teams in four divisions, but the league has already announced four new teams in Tulsa, Laredo, Ontario and Wichita.
