Wichita Police Crime Sheets: Wednesday July 31st
Each day, we comb through pages upon pages of crime reports from the Wichita Police Department. Below is a quick glance at some bits and pieces from those sheets.
These reports are designed to give you an idea of what residents and police are dealing with around town.

Break-ins while sleeping x 2
A woman reports someone entered her home through an unlocked window while she slept. It happened in the 1700 block of W. 35th St. S. She says they took some of her property and left.
Also a man living in the 3300 block of S. Fern says someone entered his home while his family slept. They forced window open, took property and left.
The two homes are within a half mile of eachother.
A Loud Boom
A woman reports someone threw a firecracker in the lower level of her residence where the walkout building is located. It happened in the 6400 S. Madison. The amount of damage is not known.
A person reports suspects threw eggs at vehicles in the 4100 block of W. Westport.
In the 2100 block of N. Amidon a person reports two people on their property. They were handing out DVD’s in exchange for donations. The two were given no trespass warnings.
Pick your own flowers
A woman in the 800 block of N. Litchfield says someone came onto her property and picked a flower. They then left.
