It's alleged that Justin Anderson, 19, Jeremy Robinson, 35, Madison Allen, 19, and Jennifer Harper, 34, used sticky rodent traps to steal mail, including checks that had been placed in the mail.

U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said the conspirators cashed the stolen checks by adding another name to the pay line. He also says they removed the name of the original payee, and replaced it with another name, or made a counterfeit check.

The conspirators could face lengthy jail time and fines.
