WICHITA, Kan. -

Two boys are in protective custody after police found bruises and other injuries.

Police were called to the home Wednesday afternoon, after a 12-year-old boy went into the Walgreens store at Edgemoor and Harry and told someone he was afraid to go home.

Police were called, and officers found bruises on the boy.

The boy and his 13-year-old brother were taken into protective custody. Police say the 13-year-old had a broken elbow from a fall on a trampoline, but the parents refused to get him medical treatment.

Police talked with their parents, but no arrests were made.
