WICHITA, Kan. -

School resumes for most districts in Kansas Friday, after a Tuesday storm brought much of the state to a standstill.

Wichita Public Schools said classes will be in session Feb. 7. Students who ride the bus should prepare for possible delays on some routes.

"First Student has prepared our buses for the cold weather," said Susan Arensman, spokeswoman.

Parents are encouraged to make sure their children are dressed for the weather conditions.

Some districts will be opening later because some roads remain icy. Click here to view the closings and delays.
