(Wichita, Kan.) -

Family members are still hurting one week after a fatal car accident killed four people and left one survivor in the hospital.

One of the victims, Sara Smith, was buried yesterday but her family is still struggling to pay for all of the expenses.

Jay Greer didn't personally know Sara but says he wanted to do something when he heard about how she died.  He organized a "Burger Burn" at The Store bar on East Osie in Wichita.  All of the proceeds will go for Sara's funeral expenses.

"This is what we do, we want to give back to the community, help people. Just help people through their time of grief, give them a little light at the end of the tunnel," he said.

Sara and three others died last Saturday in a car accident at Kellogg and Oliver.

Police believe the driver lost control of the car after he suffered a medical condition.

Only one person survived the fiery crash. Janell Henderson is still in the hospital.

Sara's family says her death comes at a tough time. Three days before her accident, her father died of cancer.

"We didn't anticipate Sara leaving us, really we were just focused on taking care of our father and then when the accident occurred, the cost is just overwhelming," said her sister, Stephanie Clasen.

Wichitans trickled in Saturday to show their support and pay their respects.

"Wichita has seen its tragedies a lot recently and it definitely shows you what kind of city that we are and we support each other no matter what," said Steph Allmond.

The family buried Sara and her father Friday in Augusta.
