WICHITA, Kan. -

When it comes to fast food chains, most people think about McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's.

But, when it comes to the best burgers, those restaurants don't make the top ten.

One new restaurant to the top ten burgers, according to Consumer Reports, started in Wichita.

Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is ranked number nine in Consumer Reports' list of top burgers.

The report surveys more than 32,000 customers about their experiences at fast food chains.

According to that survery, the biggest and cheapest restaurants, such as McDonald's, aren't always the best.

Instead, customers want more quality in their burgers. We spoke with Ben Hesse of Freddy's Frozen Custard.

He says restaurants like Freddy's take a different approach.

"We really focus on hospitality and offering a great value not only by our great quality in food items but an experience where a guest can come and serve as a great place or destination for them to enjoy with their friends and family," Hesse said.

Freddy's opened its first restaurant in 2002. The restaurant chain is now in 19 states, and it continues to grow.
