HARPER COUNTY, Kan. -

A horrific crash that killed two teenagers, and injured three others rattled Harper County nearly two weeks ago.

Ayron Maurer, 17, and a passenger Samuel Cook, 18, died in the June 20 crash. Maurer was driving his pickup east when he collided with a northbound truck driven by Joshua Campbell, 15.

Campbell and a passenger, 15-year-old John Eshelman, remain hospitalized in Wichita.

A passenger in Maurer's truck, 14-year-old Colin Nygaard, was treated and released from a Wichita hospital.

The case remains under investigation. No charges have been filed. Janis Knox, Harper County attorney, said officers are waiting on toxicology reports.

Friends organized a fundraiser to help the accident victims. It will take place at Pizza Hut in Anthony, 320 North LL&G, from 5 p.m. until close Wednesday.

Pizza Hut will donate 20-percent of all sales to the victims' families. Cash donations are also accepted.
