How do you curb violence in Old Town? That's a question Wichita police are asking and one their looking to other departments to answer after a series of shootings last year, and now a mass shooting outside a bar in September that killed one and injured six others.
FactFinder 12 Investigator Michael Schwanke spends a night with the Oklahoma City Police Department's Bricktown division. Wichita police say that is who they're looking to for advice. Bricktown, although a bit larger, is very similar to Wichita's Old Town but has fewer violent acts. We wanted to know what they do differently there and what advice they have to offer to Wichita. Spend a Saturday night in Oklahoma City in a special "Crimewatch: Old Town" report Thursday night at 10:00.
