HUGOTON, Kan. -

Three teachers from a western Kansas school district have been suspended for having marijuana at school.

Hugoton Police Chief Courtney Leslie said officers were called after the school district found the marijuana. Two of the teachers are also coaches within the district.

No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed. The case remains under investigation.

One teacher has been suspended without pay, another suspended with pay, and the third has since been reinstated.

No court date has been scheduled.
