RENO COUNTY, Kan. -

A teenager from Hutchinson remains in critical condition Monday morning.

He was hurt in a farming accident in Reno County Sunday.

Crews were called to the scene near Langdon Road and Parallel Road, southwest of Hutchinson, Sunday morning.

The Reno County Sheriff's Department said Kolton Kincaid, 16, was riding on a stump remover in a skid steer with two other teenagers to repair fence work. The group raised the front of the skid steer to drive through a patch of mud in the field. The teen's shoulder got caught on the roof of the skid steer in the process, authorities said.

The driver immediately lowered the stump remover.

The victim told emergency crews he did not have any feeling from the waist down, and could not breath. He was flown to a Wichita hospital for treatment.

The two other teenagers Jacob Kentzler, 17, and Riley Waggoner, 16, were not hurt.
