MAIZE, Kan. -

The Maize Police Department says a man who was reported missing twice in less than a week, has returned home.

Marvin Kempf, 80, was reported missing Monday night about an hour after he was last seen driving from his home. Police issued a release to locate the missing man around 9 p.m. He was safe and back home a short time later.

Police say Kempf suffers from some memory loss and can become easily confused and/or disorientated.

Kempf disappeared June 5, and was later found in Salina.


Maize Police say they have found an 80-year-old man who was missing. 

Police issued a Silver alert a little before 3:00 p.m. Friday.

They said the man was last seen on June 5 around 4:30 p.m. when he left his home in Maize.

Saturday morning, the Maize Police Department sent a press release stating they have found the missing man and he is safe.
