A teenager has pleaded guilty to several charges in connection to breaking into an elderly woman's home last year.

John Thompson, 19, pleaded guilty Monday to attempted kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. The charges stem from a June 7, 2013 crime where police said Thompson, and 18-year-old Marquatesz Redmon entered the home of a 76-year-old woman, stealing electronics and jewelry.

Redmon is also charged with raping the woman.

Thompson will be sentenced Aug. 12. Redmon will return to court Aug. 4 for trial.

A co-defendant, Jessica Ward, 24, is charged with aiding a felon. Her trial date is scheduled for September.
