WICHITA, Kan. -

Wichita Police have arrested two more people in connection to a deadly hit and run accident over the summer.

Elease Childers, 29, and Colleen Fisher, 19, made their first appearance in Sedgwick County district court Wednesday. Prosecutors charged the two women with interference with law enforcement. They face a preliminary hearing Nov. 20.

The  arrests come the same week officers arrested George Childers and Saquaya White for their roles in the crime.

Lloyd "Sonny" Ferguson, 50, died while riding his horse near 21st and Broadway July 5. Ferguson was riding with a six-year-old boy, who suffered serious injuries at the time.

Investigators said George Childers was driving the car that night. He is being jailed on two charges of failing to stop at an accident. He remains jailed on $50,000 bond. White was charged for felony obstruction.

George and Elease Childers were arrested for similar charges in August, but never formally charged. Officers found a vehicle in a garage on North Coolidge that was consistent with the crime scene.

Police said a tip to Crime Stoppers led to arrests in the case.
