BUTLER COUNTY, Kan. -

A manhunt has been called off in Butler County after authorities searched for a suspect in connection to a stolen vehicle.

Eyewitness News has since learned authorities were investigating two separate incidents, around the same time, that sparked the increase police presence.

While authorities were searching for a wanted man, there was also a short chase in another part of the county.

Officers said there was no threat, and no one was hurt in either incident.

Residents may have noticed the SWAT team in the area. Eyewitness News has learned that was only a training exercise.
