WICHITA, Kan. -

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Sedgwick County Health Department have identified another possible exposure to measles in Wichita.

The KDHE and the SCHD says there may have been potential exposure at South Lakes Sports Complex, 2211 W. 47th St. S., on July 4.

The person who may have exposed others has already been identified is a part of the current confirmed measles cases. KDHE says, so far, there have been no confirmed cases associated with this event.

Eight teams from Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Texas attended the informal softball tournament. Kansas health officials are working with those in Texas, Missouri and Nebraska.

The KDHE is asking anyone who attended the event or participated in the event and developed an illness with fever and rash to contact their healthcare provider.
