A Wichita man dies at the hospital from burns he got in an early morning duplex fire.

The fire started around 2:30 Saturday morning at a home in the 100 block of W. Zimmerly.

A neighbor called 911 after seeing flames from the home. Fire crews arrived a short time later to find a fire in the front room and a man with burns to his body.

Paramedics took the 41-year-old to the hospital in critical condition, but he later died at the hospital.

The fire caused $45,000 in damages to the home that has been converted into a duplex. Two other people in the home made it out safely.

Investigators are still determining a cause to the fire.
