Another scam warning for Kansas utility customers, this time from Atmos Energy.

A "phishing" email with a fake bill is circulating, linking e-Bill customers to a fraudulent website. The email provides links to mislead customers about viewing their bill, or natural gas bill inserts. The links lead the victim to a compromised website that hides malware.

Anyone that receives the email should delete it, and not click on any links.

Atmos Energy serves customers in eight states, including Kansas. The utility company said the emails have been sent nationwide.
