WICHITA, Kan. -

A concert featuring a rock artist at Riverfest has been pushed up ahead of severe weather concerns.

The Joan Jett and the Blackhearts concert will begin at 7:50 p.m. Sunday outside in the Kennedy Plaza.

Mary Beth Jarvis, Riverfest CEO and President, said organizers are still planning for three concerts tonight, but will be keeping a close eye on the storms as they move across the state.

"The more time you have the better your ability to adjust," Jarvis said. "With that said the further in advance you make the call the less current your information is. So we try to balance that the best we can."

The concert will be moved inside Century II if needed.

High winds also grounded the hot air balloons during an evening flight.
