One man is dead and two others injured, after a crash in Southwest Kansas.
The accident happened just before 6 o'clock Wednesday evening on K-51 at mile marker 38 or about 2 miles North of Rolla in Morton County.
Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers said the driver of a pick up truck pulling a trailer with 2 horses northbound on K-51 left the east side of the road.
Troopers said the driver over corrected coming back on the road causing the trailer to fish tail as it re-entered the roadway.
The truck then entered the ditch and overturned throwing the driver out before coming to rest in a field east of K-51. The driver, 46 year-old Cedric Hull of Rolla, died from his injuries at the hospital.
Troopers identified the passengers as, 39 year-old Clint Hull and 34 year-old Tyler Williams, both of Rolla. Hull was listed in fair condition at a Wichita hospital, while Williams condition is not known.
No word about the fate of the horses.
