SALINA, Kan. -

Salina Police are looking for a man accused of holding a woman against her will.

Police were called to the area of Harrold and Hasket just after 10 p.m. Thursday after someone noticed a woman with bruises walking north. Officers report finding bruises all over her body, and deep, purple bruises on the chin, jaw and forehead. There were cuts on her shoulders and back, police said.

The 34-year-old woman told investigators she had been kidnapped and held against her will for three days in a home in the 700 block of North Front St.

Capt. Mike Sweeney, Salina Police, said a man is accused of beating the woman in the head, face and arms. The woman reportedly lost consciousness at times.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police said the case appears to be domestic, and have a suspect identified.
