WICHITA, Kan. -

The Junior League of Wichita has launched a new website to help victims of child abuse.

The organization partnered with around 20 local agencies that work with child abuse victims and their families to set up the site. It acts as a single-point community resource for anyone who has questions about child abuse in our area.

JLW says the goal of the website is to help define the types of child abuse and provide the latest advice on how to report and deal with cases of child abuse.

"Child abuse is a complicated issue that affects every facet of our community," sais Kristin Baker with the Junior League of Wichita. "Our hope is that the website will serve as a valuable resource for many different types of people, and we are proud to give the site as a gift to our community."
