Texting the teacher…
11:57 am
A 33/f teacher says she’s received 16 text messages, she believes from a student, at her workplace. The texts make vague sexual statements telling her how nice her “booty” is and how nice she looks while she’s at work. Another employee says she saw someone pick up a business card with her work cell phone number on it and that’s when the texts started. There have been no threats, but the messages make her feel uncomfortable - especially because she doesn’t know who they’re coming from. She did respond to one message and said she was not interested and asked the person to stop. She says she’s willing to press charges if police can figure out who is sending the messages.

The report does not state whether anyone was arrested.

Too much to drink….
8:20 pm
A 33/f who works for a store in the 4700 block of S. Broadway says two people came into the store and picked up some merchandise. One of them appeared to be very intoxicated, and became very angry when a product he wanted was not available. During their conversation, the man grabbed a bottle of liquor. The other guy set down a credit card and ID, then drove off. The first man walked out, but came in and asked to use the phone. The woman said he couldn’t use the phone. The man became angrier and started yelling and cursing. The man verified that he’d had a lot to drink. Meanwhile, the other person returned to the store. The drunk man went outside and got cash from the car, then tried to pay. The woman refused to sell to him and she refused to return the ID the other guy left behind. The other guy came back into the store and urinated on himself. The woman decided she was not going to serve either of them, and they left.
