A 48/f says someone came into her house through an unlocked kitchen window while she was home. The burglar ran from the home and was taken into custody a short time later. Turns out, the burglar had stolen some things from a car parked nearby. That property was found in the woman’s back yard and on the burglar’s person.
A 43/f says someone came onto her front porch and removed a flower pot from its stand. The flower pot was then set on the front porch. She says her mother recently called the court to report a DV case for their neighbors...and since then, there have been multiple incidents of harassment and items being moved around on the porch and back deck are of her home.
Huffing duster at school…
An employee at a school in the 700 block of W. 33rd S. says a student passed out in the band room. A nurse was called to the scene and the student admitted to huffing ultra-duster. The student was taken in for a mental evaluation, then released by the doctor and sent back to school. The report does not discuss what action, if any, was taken by the school.
A 44/f says her “property” (presumably a ring) slipped off her finger while at the courthouse. She picked it up and set it on the seat next to her. She got up and left, then apparently realized she’d forgotten the property, and ran back to the courtroom to get it - but it was gone. She made a report with the courthouse, but needed to file a report with police to put out an alert to local pawn shops.
The owner of a business on S. Cedar Park says he terminated an employee on Wednesday, but the former employee refuses to return the company phone that was issued to him. The employer has tried to contact the phone on several occasions, but the former employee doesn’t pick up.
A 55/f who lives in an apartment complex on W. Par says her dog went to the bathroom on her balcony. Some of the waste ran down onto a neighbor’s balcony. The neighbor then told the landlord he wanted to punch the dog owner in the face. The report was filed for documentation.
Knocked out, shoes stolen…
