Each day, we comb through pages upon pages of crime reports from the Wichita Police Department. Below is a quick glance at some bits and pieces from those sheets.
These reports are designed to give you an idea of what residents and police are dealing with around town.

Someone called police and said he saw videos posted to Facebook of someone tasing their 14-year-old son and another child. The boy had a visible injury to his left shoulder. Police did not find the person in the video. No other information is listed.
A 51/f says someone broke several ceramic flower pots in the 1800 block of E. Hodson. She says she had argument with her neighbor the day before. She feels the neighbor may be responsible.
A 69/f called police and said that some people are in bunkers under her duplex. She says they’re spying on her and coming in through her skylights whenever they want to. She has filed several reports on all types of concerns, including her adult children being snatched and her billions of dollars being used with her trust funds abusing her SSN. She hasn’t been able to bank for several years. She says she won’t call the police substations anymore because they have not solved any of her problems and that all officers do is come to her apartment to see if she has food and they say that everything is okay. She says she’s delivered several children and that they are being abused. The woman rambled from topic to topic until she was transferred to the investigations department at her request.
An 18/f says she was trying on clothes at a store in the 7700 block of E. Kellogg. She says she laid her phone down and accidentally forgot it in the dressing room. When she went back to get it - it was gone.
A 60/m says someone siphoned gas from his car in the 2400 block of E. Harry.
A 36/f says all of the windows in her rental property in the 1900 block of N. Market were broken out. She is pretty sure the culprit is a former tenant who was recently evicted for not paying rent.
A 31/f says someone called her pharmacy and acted as though they were her doctor refilling her prescription. That person then came by and picked up the meds. When she went to have her prescription filled, she wasn’t allowed to. She contacted her doctor who told her to file a police report.
A 65/m says a man distracted people at the counter of a business in the 6300 block of E. 13th by talking about what kind of cigar he wants to buy, all the while, a second person puts some things in her purse then leaves without paying.
Gas tank debris…
A 51/f says someone put dirt, rocks and sticks in the gas tank of her car in the 600 block of S. Eastern. No idea who did it.
A 50/f says someone stole bikes from her three children in the 1200 block of W. Douglas. She says her kids parked their bikes outside without locks. When they came back, the bikes were all gone. Employees at the business said they saw someone in a vehicle take all three bikes.
