Each day, we comb through pages upon pages of crime reports from the Wichita Police Department. Below is a quick glance at some bits and pieces from those sheets.
These reports are designed to give you an idea of what residents and police are dealing with around town.

A 45/f in the 2000 block of S. Ellis reports her neighbor’s dog barking continuously.
Anyone lose a camera?
A 45/f reports finding a Sony Cybershot Camera and a Casio Camera on the ground near some playground equipment in the 2500 block of W. Wildwood. Those cameras were submitted to police as found property.
A 30/m reports someone siphoned about a half a tank of gasoline from a car while it was parked in a parking lot in the 200 block of N. Cleveland over the weekend.
Stolen and found…
A 29/m reports finding bags of items believed to be stolen from three parties (not sure if they are businesses or individuals) in the 300 block of S. Armour.
A 52/m reports someone coming to a gas station in the 5600 block of S. Broadway and got a Pump Start card. The woman went out to her car and filled up, then another person drove up in a second car, which was also filled up with gas. Both cars then drove off without paying. Apparently, they waved as they were driving off.
Grills & tunes…
A 33/m reports someone stealing front grills and stereos removed from vehicles belonging to a business in the 11000 block of W. Kellogg. The value is listed at greater than $1,000.
A 21/m reports being intimidated by a neighbor who was making threatening comments over a loud noise problem. That neighbor also damaged someone else’s door with a hammer. Another person witnessed the harassing behavior and has video of the person pacing and having a “loud fit”.
A 44/f reports someone using HER identity while donating plasma. She thinks it is a woman who is having an affair with her husband. She doesn’t know who it is, but she’ll call back if she finds out.
