Wichita State still has to make it past Kentucky to make it into the Sweet sixteen. But that didn't stop the alumni association from making plans for next weekend.
Debby Kennedy spent Saturday planning a chartered flight trip to Indianapolis for the Midwest regional. The association said it will have 142 seats available, but prices have not been set.
Once Sunday's game is over, fans will be able to reserve a seat on the plane.
"It takes the fan experience out of it because you get superstitious and you don't want to talk about it," Kennedy said. "But I have to. We always have to look at what's the next step and we prepare for that."
The alumni association is already working on plans for the Final Four in Dallas, Kennedy said.
