NEW YORK (AP) - Nearly 8,000 children's hoodies are being recalled because of a possible choking risk.

No injuries have been reported, but the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the hooded sweatshirts have drawstrings around the neck that can get caught in playground slides or school bus doors and possibly strangle a child.

Oklahoma man charged with murder in beheading

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities have charged an Oklahoma man with first-degree murder in the beheading of a Vaughan Foods plant worker.
    
Cleveland County prosecutor Greg Mashburn announced the charges Tuesday against 30-year-old Alton Nolen. The attack killed 54-year-old Colleen Hufford, and 43-year-old Traci Johnson was repeatedly stabbed. Johnson survived the attack.

Chiefs Defense keys Monday night performance

Not to take anything away from a great balanced offensive attack that put up 300+ yards in the 1st half alone, but the defense stole the show Monday night. Tom Brady was not so terrific, and we saw a team that reminded us of the early 2013 squad. A ball-hawking fast unit able to create turnovers. DT Dontari Poe was impressed after the game.
