 A family of four escaped injury during a house fire in Wellington.

It happened just after four o'clock Monday afternoon at 2223 East Lincoln.

A fire department spokesman said one Wellington firefighter was injured in a fall. He was treated and released from local hospital.

The spokesman said hot grease caused the accidental fire. The single story home received extensive damage.
