Disc golf tournament goes on in face of wind gusts

It'll take more than strong winds to blow out a disc-golf tournament in Wichita Sunday afternoon. Organizers of the "Ice Bowl" had more than 100 disc-golfers show up at Camp Hiawatha Sunday morning. Corey Harrison arrived with discs in hand ready to compete. He says disc golfers will play in just about any kind of weather.

Beloit man injured in Cloud County wreck

A Beloit man is hospitalized after an early-morning wreck in Cloud County. Twenty-five-year-old Adam Stortz was driving east near the town of Simpson when the Kansas Highway Patrol says his truck left the road. 

Victims fight back in Wichita home break-in

One suspect was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail and another was hospitalized following a home break-in and robbery reported about 8:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of North Lorraine.
