Wichitan and finalist from season one of singing competition show 'The Voice,' Chris Mann is in Wichita promoting two new albums.
Mann's holiday album 'Home for Christmas' is available at Wal Mart stores Tuesday. 'Home for Christmas' has six classic Christmas songs, including "O Holly Night" and "White Christmas."
He also has a full-length album, 'Roads,' due in stores October 30.
"When I was on the Voice, this is what the dream was," Mann said, in a live interview on Eyewitness News at 4 Monday. "I was lucky enough to have gotten signed (to a major label) largely in part to Kansas and Wichita for voting me through."
'Roads' features a blend of covers and original songs. Mann says highlights include "The Blower's Daughter," a duet with his 'Voice' coach Christina Aguilera, and a new version of the Frank Sinatra classic "My Way."
The album 'Roads' will be available in stores and through Mann's web site, chrismannmusic.com, and is available for preorder now.
