Called by a higher power, Norm Jennings of Smoky Hill Vineyard & Winery says everything must go. Everything.

"We are making a transition into ministry to follow our Lord’s calling and part of that process is selling Smoky Hill Vineyard and Winery", says Jennings.

Recipes, bottles and barrels are all up for grabs. If you're interested - here's how it works.  The wine recipes and the rights to the name "Smoky Hill" will be sold by a sealed envelope bidding process.

If you are interested in the land it will be sold on an online auction.

"By the end of the month of February we will know the fate of Smoky Hill and all that is left here", says Jennings.

Eyewitness News asked Jennings just how much money it will take to the land all of the rights to the winery.

"You know we feel that it will be under 100 million dollars”, added Jennings jokingly. Right now he is unsure how much it will all go for.

There are no exact leads on what will happen to the land…management says they would like to see someone adopt the name and recipes into their collection.

Memories with his dad around the grounds are what Jennings says he will remember the most. Smoky Hill has been in the family for over two decades...but soon someone else will call it home.
