Salina police hope you can help them catch whoever is responsible for 30 business burglaries over the past several months.

Lt. Scott Siemsen with the Salina PD says they believe all, or at least a majority, of the crimes are connected because they happened in the same area of town and share some similarities.

The burglaries started in September and always happen at night.  The latest incident was at dentist's office late Tuesday.

Before that, between Sunday and Monday, SM Hanson Music store was hit.  The burglars forced open a basement door and took an electric guitar along, effect pedals, cables and  cash from a safe and a cash register.

"It was shock and I think everyone here at the store, we felt violated." Store owner Steve Hanson said.

That same store was hit by burglars the following night in the same manner.  Burglars went through the basement door. Hanson said they took headphones, cables and a power supply.

Hanson said the total damage between the two music store burglaries is around $6,000.

Hanson advises other store owners to keep an eye on customers to make sure they aren't looking it over. He also said light was important.

No one has been hurt.

Crimestoppers is offering a $1000 reward for information.  Anyone with tips is urged to call Salina PD or Crimestoppers at (785) 825-TIPS
