The owner of The Grind will stand trial. He's accused of distributing hallucinogenic drugs in packets of herbal potpourri sold at his Salina business. The shop closed in February.
Eric W. Srack, 42, pled not guilty to three counts of distributing a hallucinogen on Dec. 22. An agent with the I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force testified she purchased multiple packets of potpourri through the Grind’s drive-through lane. His trial for those counts is set for August 16.
He was also bound over on separate charges stemming from chemical compounds and cash confiscated during execution of federal search warrants at his business, home and a warehouse on Feb. 17. Srack is scheduled to enter his plea on those charges on Monday.
