(ABILENE, Kan.)—
A former Dickinson County sheriff's deputy is charged with child sex crimes.Abilene Police say John Harwood was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from the Attorney General's office. Our news partners at The Salina Journal report that Harwood is charged with aggravated criminal sodomy with an individual under 14.
The Journal reports that Harwood is expected to make a first appearance in court Nov. 15. He no longer works for the Dickinson County Sheriff's Department.
