John Wayne Gacy murdered 33 young men and boys in the late 1970's; but one boy previously identified as a Gacy victim has been removed from that list, thanks to new DNA evidence.
Michael Marino was reported missing 36 years ago this week.
A body was found next to Michael's friend Kenneth Parker in a crawl space at Gacy's home on W. Summerdale.
Dental records appeared to confirm Michael's identity.
But his mother Sherry never believed it; and Thursday, DNA tests confirmed the victim was not Michael.
But two nagging questions remain.
Who is the victim? And where is Michael Marino?
There is now a big push underway to identify several remaining victims and determine whether John Gacy had accomplices.
