Beauty follows the storm
Strong storms that brought heavy rain, lightning and hail to portions of the Tri-State area on Thursday afternoon and evening eventually passed, leaving beauty in their wake.

Double rainbow
Jean F. Kauffman, who lives on Kristyn Court in Waynesboro, Pa., with her husband, Glenn E. Kauffman, sent us this photo of a double rainbow that appeared following Wednesday's thunderstorm. Jean Kauffman said lightning "struck right in the stream outside our windows," rattling the house. Seconds later, lightning again struck nearby. "What a light show," she said.
