Love him or hate him, he is fun to watch.

Bubba Watson slapped his home made, self taught golf swing all around Augusta National, Sunday for his second Masters' Championship in three years. The guy from Bagdad Florida that some wrote off when he was on the mini tours and then broke out on the PGA Tour is a two-time Masters' champion. Let that sink in for a second.

Bubba is definitely not your fathers golfer. Heck, he might not even be your golfer but he is entertaining to watch and he brings out the crowds. They love him and he loves them back. Whether you feel that his, "ah, shucks," personality is for real or not is irrelevant when it comes to his game. Dude is legit. All pros work the ball in the air. Bubba takes that to the extreme. But he puts well and that's what separates the pretty good ones from the really good ones. Bubba is proving to be really good now.

As impressive at Bubba's game was Sunday, Jordan Spieth was equally impressive - maybe even more so in defeat. He is 20-years-old. He is the future of the game and will win a bunch of major championships and Jordan was a couple bad shots away from grabbing his first green jacket. Spieth did one year at Texas before deciding that the allure of the PGA Tour was too much. He (and many others) is the future of golf in this country and I couldn't think of a better ambassador.

So golf season is off and running now. The PGA Tour rolls on to South Carolina this week and we are two months from the Air Capital Classic returning. If only the weather would cooperate....
