If it is possible to be the sex pick to win the title, and be the guy no one is talking about all at the same time, Matt Kenseth is your guy. The former champ is the most talented driver in the garage area that no one talks about, but everyone knows is a threat to win every week.
More importantly Kesneth is hungry. His championship season in which he one just one is the reason NASCAR went to the chase, to put more emphasis on winning. So many people say he really needs a championship under the new format. Of course not many people remember that he lead the series in wins the year before the championship, and finished eighth in the points. Kenseth just played by the rules as they were laid out at the time.
I really like Matt's chance to win a chase this season. I really think any of the top five can do it. So don't be surprised if Kenseth adds a Sprint Cup that he can put on the matle next to that Winston Cup.
