North took down East 71-63 behind an astounding 48 points from Conner Frankamp. He came just four points short of tying his own all-time City League record of 52. Kapaun picked up another close win, this time over Southeast 65-64 on a last-second shot. West also won a 56-53 nail biter over Heights. Carroll took care of South 55-35. Carroll's Logan Bullinger led all players with 24 points.
AVCTL
Campus didn’t fare much better in a 72-55 loss to Hutchinson. Andover more than doubled up on Ark City 74-35. Salina South rolled over Newton 62-52. Goddard Eisenhower continued its impressive season with a 64-51 win over Andover Central. Valley Center pulled away from Goddard 48-43.
Derby smashed Maize 65-45. Derby's Taylor Schieber scored 27 points in the win. Maize's Tavon Morrow scored 21. Maize South pulled away from Collegiate 57-50. El Dorado picked up a 49-36 win over Wellington.
WAC
Dodge City handled Ulysses 43-27. Buhler didn’t have much trouble with Great Bend 48-39. Salina Central nipped Hays 45-40.
CPL
Wichita Independent dominated Medicine Lodge 72-48. The Owls of Garden Plain flew past Belle Plaine 47-29. Douglass was able to get past Bluestem 64-56. Cheney finished off Chaparral 73-56. It was never close as Trinity was too much for Conway Springs 60-41. Four players for Trinity finished in double figures.
CKL
Halstead got past Sterling 51-46. Haven picked up a tough, close win 41-39 over Pratt. Hesston's Wyatt McKinney led all players with 15 points in a 54-32 win over Nickerson. Lyons finished off Kingman 47-42. Hillsboro pulled away from Smoky Valley 41-35.
HOA
Hutch Trinity scored 15 points in each of three quarters and got the best of Sedgwick 56-54. Inman took down Bennington in a solid upset 61-53. Marion nearly doubled up Ell-Saline 38-23. Moundridge obliterated Canton-Galva 75-29.
Others
Ness City didn't have much trouble with Western Plains 71-57. Berean Academy thrashed Chase County 47-31. Meade destoryed Bucklin 65-21. Salina Sacred Heart thanked Russell for showing up in a 60-23 embarrassment. Abilene took care of Silver Lake 70-57. Smith Center slipped by Osborne 58-55.
