Wichita State guard Ron Baker will miss six weeks with a stress fracture in his foot. Baker has been playing with pain for the last week or so. He will wear either a cast or walking boot until the fracture heals.

Baker's injury is just the latest for the Shockers who started off the season 9-0 before losing to Tennessee.

Forward Carl Hall had surgery on his thumb Tuesday and will be out approximately a month.

Ehimen Orukpe is still not 100% with an ankle injury. Tekele Cotton has a bone bruise in his ankle from a practice injury about a week ago.
