For the second straight game, Gregg Marshall played all 12 players on his bench to a 69-50 victory Saturday afternoon over Howard.
Carl Hall and Demetric Williams lead Wichita State (4-0) with 11 points each. Evan Wessel and Ron Baker followed with nine points each. Mike Phillips of Howard led his team with 12 points.
The Shockers were never really pushed in this matchup, leading 37-14 at halftime, cruising to their win in the second half.
Wichita State is now off to Cancun, Mexico for their game with DePaul, Tuesday thr 20th, all part of the Cancun Challenge Tournament.
