Kansas State's Collin Klein and Nigel Malone will both play in this year's East-West Shrine game. The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon.

Klein and Malone are the 48th and 49th Kansas State players selected to play in the annual game for college seniors; Wichita Kapaun alum Tysyn Hartman was a selection last season.

Klein finished his career at Kansas State with a 22-6 record as the starting quarterback for the Wildcats.  This season he finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting and was also named the Big 12 Offensive player of the year.

Malone is one of the best defensive players in the country finishing with 5 interceptions this season after recording 7 picks in 2011.

The East-West Shrine game will be played on January 19th at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
