It took a goal line stand late in the 4th quarter to help the Kansas State Wildcats defeat the Miami Hurricanes 28-24 Saturday.
Miami had the ball at the Wildcats one-yard line with 2nd and goal and about a minute to go, and three times failed to punch it into the endzone. The 4th and goal play was originally ruled a touchdown but was later overturned after officials ruled that his Jacory harri's knee hit the ground before he cross the goal line.
Kansas State led at halftime 14-3, but Miami was able to cut the lead to 21-17 going into the 4th quarter.
The Wildcats were led by the combination of Collin Klein running and throwing the ball. Klein was 12 of 18 passing for 133 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 93 yards and a touchdown as well. John Hubert led the Wildcats in rushing with 166 yards on 18 carries and a TD.
K-State improves to 3-0 with a game at home against Baylor on the schedule for next Saturday.
