(MANHATTAN, Kan.)—
For the first time since 2003 the Kansas State Wildcats will finish the regular season with a 10-2 record after beating Iowa State 30-23.
With Iowa State driving and about a minute left on the clock the Wildcats' defense forced a fumble and recovered it to seal the win. John Hubert's touchdown run with about 4 minutes remaining in the game turned out to be the game-winner.
Hubert finished with 120 rushing yards while Collin Klein threw for a touchdown and rushed for another. Wichita Kapaun graduate Anthony Cantele went a perfect 3 of 3 on field goals.
This was the 8th football game that Kansas State won by 7 or less points.
