A year after winning the MIAA tournament and advancing to the NCAA regional championship, the conference coaches have picked Fort Hays State to finish third in the MIAA this season.

The coaches like defending National Champions Central Oklahoma to win the conference. The Bronchos won the regular season a year ago.

The Lady Tigers were 47-12 last season, but lose All-American pitcher Maddie Holub, who is now playing professionally.

FHSU does return six starters in the field.
