ST. LOUIS, Mo. -

Today is Thursday. It's also media day at the NCAA Tournament. It's also the hardest working day of the tourney, especially this season and this location.

Three teams, one arena, 12 people: it sounds like a sitcom pitch or a reality TV show, at the least.

When you encounter ONE team in a regional site, you have to pay attention to the other games but really your eyes are on the potential next opponent. This week in St. Louis? You pay attention to all of them.

Which means we shoot all the practices, carry all the news conferences and the practices. (The NCAA doesn't allow for the games to be used on websites, other than their own.) Today is a hard day.

But in a way, it's an easy day: The day is scheduled, it's on time and regimented. Objectives are clear and the end result is attainable. Food isn't, so much.

This is the first time staying in St. Louis, speaking for myself. I've driven through three times but never stayed under the Arch. It's a beautiful city and they love their Cardinals and their Blues here. Fun Fact: The ice at the Scottrade Center is still down. Facility manager told me they do not melt the ice often during the season. They Blues are back Monday.

KU could either be in Lawrence Monday or packing for Memphis. Not really sure what to think of this team, other than they are a wildcard when the ball is tipped. More on the Jayhawks tonight online and on air. We are live all weekend with the best coverage of the tournament you'll find in Wichita.

Now, as far as a sandwich right now...
